Slowly but surely...

Ryan and I only have one temple prep class to go. I really am so excited! I can't wait to be a forever family. Wouldn't that be the best Christmas present ever? Thanks for all the prayers and support! We love you all!

Dodge's growing vocabulary...

It's been a couple of weeks now but I thought I would post this before it is forgotten:

We were having dinner and G&G Johnson's house and Dodge had a special request for dinner. He wanted salad... with salad sauce.

Dodge's Photography

One of the things Dodge likes to do when he is being mischievous is take the camera and snap a few hundred pics. Usually, these pictures include a few close ups of Dodge's face, his Lego creations, his stuffed animals, and random things around the house. I am always surprised when I go to use the camera and magically my memory card is full. Going through some of his pictures, I decided to post some of his better work. He has recently added his sister to his subjects and some of them turn out pretty cute. Here are a few snapshots by Dodge:

He calls this Lego creation "the pirate house" it is a pretty cool house on stilts with a lower deck and everything.

Blurry but still cute

June 16th 2009 - Brushfire Pottery Studio

While Mandy was in town with Jane and Annie, we went to Brushfire Pottery Studio downtown and the kids painted some ceramics. Dodge really had fun, he painted a ceramic shark, car, a plate, and even a cup for daddy for father's day.

Luckily she didn't make too big of a mess

June 12th, 2009 - Las Vegas

We went to Las Vegas on Friday to meet Mandy, Annie, Jane, Aunt Michelle, Emma, and Grandma Johnson. We went to the pool at Mandalay Bay, ate lunch at Serendipity 3, and finished the day off at build-a-bear. The kids had a blast.
