We got to have Papa and Grama and Katie down for part of the weekend and we had a blast! We ate... a lot, carved some pumkins, and explored a little of snow canyon. It is always so fun to have them visit.

October 11th, 2010: Staheli Farm

We headed over to Staheli Farm this last Monday to get our pumpkins. They have a whole bunch of fun things for the kids to do. Dodge enjoyed jumping on the 'Redneck Trampoline' which was a bunch of mattresses surrounded by huge hay bales. There were some huge pipe slides into corn, a carousel with horses made out of tires, and tons more fun. We took a ride on the trailer behind the tractor to the pumpkin patch and picked our pumpkins. It was a fun family night.

I'd like to say that we are getting out and enjoying the Fall weather, however, it is still dang hot here! So I guess you could stay we are still enjoying summer here. Whenever I ask Dodge what he wants to do, he usually says "go to the river". We would probably go more if there was more time between when Dodge gets home from school and dinner. I finally played the good mom card and took the kids and the dog to the river Monday night. We found a super mud hole and the kids had a good old time while I thought of how fun it was going to be to clean out my car. Luckily, I caught myself and thought what a dumb thing to worry about. I have really been trying to enjoy the kids more lately while they are still young. Heaven knows they grow way too fast. It was fun, and messy, and a great time. I even let the car stay dirty for the day.
