Addison is getting so big! I can't believe she is nearly 18 months old already. At Church, she went to nursery and stayed the whole time. She was a little opposed to the whole idea, until they brought out the snacks and the toys. I am glad that she has warmed up to the idea. It will be a little easier to teach our ten year old's now. I think most of the senior primary might miss her though. She really liked to walk around and socialize with everyone during sharing time.
Addison is talking so much now. She has really picked up a lot of words just in the last couple of weeks. My favorite right now is probably "salsa" just because she says it in such a cute sing-song way. She also says Jesus, Grama, and Shoe in addition to all the other words she has been saying. Most of all, she says "what's that?" a lot. She is such a doll and growing more and more everyday.
She started rolling her arms to "do as I'm doing" and it is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen. I am sad to see her out of the baby stage and into the toddler stage but I am glad she is healthy and happy. We are so blessed to have her in our family.

Our friend Mindy had her kids over for a couple hours while she was at work. It was so fun to actually have girl toys for the girls to play with now. Dodge and Brock made good use of the train table that Santa brought and they played so well together. Addison really liked having the girls over to play with her kitchen and her dollies.

This is the post where I would put Christmas pictures... if I had some. I forgot the camera for our trip up north. I promise, I did take some with a disposable camera and I am getting a copy of all my dad's pictures so I promise I will post them when I get them.

We went to the Live Nativity out at Tuachan this year with our good friends Galen and Tiffanee. We even rode on the train. They had a bunch of live animals there too, even a real camel. It was cold but worth it to spend some time with our friends.

I had to put this one on here. It was cold and way past her bedtime, of course she was going to cry!

This year for Dodge's birthday, he had his first ever "friends" party. It was a hit! There were games, a pinata, and even a huge jump house. Happy Birthday Dodge!! We love you!

We broke down and bought a tree this year since both kids were sick and it snowed. The only downside... the tree was kinda flimsy and wouldn't hold all our ornaments without them falling off within five minutes. We did what we could with it though. Dodge was a great help decorating the tree. Addison really enjoyed playing with all the decorations.

We went to the Dicken's Festival and Addison got her very first tutu, crown, and wand. Okay, so I went a little overboard and got her fairy wings too. She just looks too cute in them! The crown didn't last too long but she loved all the rest!

We went for a walk this afternoon to find some leaves to play in. Dodge and Addison really enjoyed making piles to jump in and throwing them in the air. Dodge even took a few home to start a new collection to add to his pine cone collection. It was so nice outside I didn't want to come back inside, but Addison had to have her nap. I love living in the desert.

Decorating Grama and Papa Johnson's Christmas tree. Addison was taking them down as fast as we could put them up. Dodge had fun playing with them before putting them on the tree. I think we are going to have the bottom third of our tree undecorated this year, if not, Addison will un-decorate it for us! It was fun to see all the homemade ornaments that Ryan and his brother and sisters made as kids. It is cute to see they still go on the Christmas tree every year.

November 28th, 2009: Going to see Santa
We went to the mall on Saturday to do a little Christmas shopping and we just had to see Santa while we were there. It was so cute, Dodge jumped right on Santa's lap and said "I want a train table, and a play kitchen for my baby sister Addison". When it was Addison's turn to sit on Santa's lap, well, she reacted as most kids do to sitting on his lap... she cried. We tried to get some cute pictures but I think the ones we got really captured the whole experience really well. It was funny.
Yeah, Addison totally poked Dodge in the eye in this picture.
